Your key responsibilities as the US Tax Manager
As a vital member of the tax management team, you will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the U.S. Tax practice. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and actively participating in the preparation of U.S. income tax returns for clients, with a special emphasis on sectors like property and casualty insurance, international executive taxation, and hedge funds/private equity. Furthermore, you will lead and mentor tax staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and strict compliance with regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for the U.S. Tax Manager role, candidates should have at least five years of experience in U.S. taxation within a public accounting or professional services environment, with a focus on U.S. tax matters. A professional qualification such as Enrolled Agent, LLM, or CPA/ACA/ACCA/CA is required. While membership in a recognised accounting body is not mandatory, it would be a valuable asset. Candidates should also be prepared for flexible scheduling, as overtime may occasionally be necessary.
