Your key responsibilities
As the Tax Manager specialising in International M&A, you'll be focusing specifically on M&A and restructuring endeavours. Your role entails offering proactive tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, predominantly comprising private equity and real estate clients. You'll provide guidance on international tax considerations relating to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. Taking charge, you'll oversee and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, encompassing tax due diligence, structuring, SPA review, tax modelling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates. Collaborating closely with the team, you'll contribute to developing the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, fostering stronger client relationships, expanding the client base, and enhancing the service portfolio.
Requirements
To be successful you require a master's degree or a commendable bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a specialisation in tax or international tax. Possession of an LLM in international tax would be advantageous. With a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax affairs within an international context, familiarity with private equity or real estate clients is beneficial. Bridging the realms of economics and law, you demonstrate proficiency in numerical analysis, modelling, and legal principles. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, with fluency in German or additional languages regarded as advantageous.
