Jane Wylie-Roberts is the Managing Director of Stafffinders and Co-Founder & Director of Kingpin.
Kingpin is an Executive Search company that specialises in International Tax Placements and has worked with a number of market leading organisations to facilitate the matching of highly qualified tax professionals.
Stafffinders is an independent Scottish Recruitment Agency with branches in Paisley and Edinburgh. Having entered her family’s business full-time in 1990, Jane has been responsible for the rapid growth and development of the business into many specialist sectors. Stafffinders is well respected in multiple sectors including Commercial, Hospitality, Technical, Legal, IT, Manufacturing and Accountancy recruitment amongst others.
Jane has won the award for Best Sales and Marketing Director from the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce and Stafffinders have won many awards including Recruitment Agency of the Year for Scotland, Family Business of the Year, UK Recruitment Agency of the Year and Outstanding Performing Business in Renfrewshire for three years through the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce. She has also been recognised by Her Majesty the Queen as a “Pioneer to the Life of the Nation” for her services to business and charity at a reception at Buckingham Palace.
Jane is a former pupil of St. Columba’s and Gordonstoun, a graduate of Business Studies, a Fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and was a finalist in Female Director of the Year for the Institute of Directors.
Jane speaks regularly at events on topics about Women in Business and Family Businesses. Jane also guest lectures at the University of Strathclyde, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship and is a past Board Director of the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.
Besides from her professional life, Jane is very involved with various charities with the closest to her heart being for Vision Aid. She has 50 collection boxes throughout Scotland where people can donate their old spectacles and then Jane has them sorted and sent to countries such as Sierra Leone where people can have the chance to see properly again and therefore be able to work.
